Einladung zur Veranstaltung „Community Resilience“

Community Resilience: Where do we begin?

Veranstaltung in Dortmund
2. Juli 2026

Collective trauma, resilience, and community-based responses to crisis

In a world shaped by ongoing uncertainty and collective trauma, communities are often left searching for ways to hold together what has been shaken. This lecture invites participants into a journey through stories and field experiences from diverse cultural and humanitarian contexts, exploring how communities navigate loss, disruption, and change. Through these lived encounters, the lecture unfolds a model of community resilience grounded in relationships, participation, and meaning making. It offers a reflective space to consider not only how resilience is built, but how it is held – by communities, and by the professionals who walk alongside them.
